What is Alpha Capital Group?
Alpha Capital Group is a UK prop firm. We run simulated evaluations so you can prove your strategy under clear rules. We are a proprietary trading company, not a broker. You pay for an evaluation. You do not deposit money to trade your own funds with us.
Is Alpha Capital a prop firm traders can join?
Yes. Alpha Capital is a global prop firm available in 100+ countries — click here to view our complete country list. You buy an evaluation, trade simulated funds under the plan rules, and if you pass you can become a Qualified Analyst. From there you may earn performance fees based on results in our simulated environment. Nothing is guaranteed.
What is a prop firm?
A prop firm evaluates traders through a structured programme. At Alpha Capital that means a simulated trading environment, published risk rules, and a path to a Qualified Account if you pass. Performance fees are based on simulated results, not a promise of income.
Is Alpha Capital a broker?
No. We do not accept deposits for you to trade your own money. We are a proprietary trading company. You pay for the evaluation of your strategy in our simulated institutional execution environment.
Am I trading with real funds?
No. Evaluation accounts use simulated funds. After you pass, you stay in a simulated market environment as a Qualified Analyst. Eligible profits there can generate performance fees. Simulated results do not reflect real trading outcomes.
Do I need trading experience to start?
No prior experience is required to buy an evaluation. Passing without real trading skill is unlikely. Treat the evaluation like a serious test of your process, risk management, and consistency.
What happens after I pass the evaluation?
You move to a Qualified Account in our simulated environment. There is no profit target on that stage. You must keep following the risk rules for your plan. As a Qualified Analyst you can earn an 80% performance fee share on eligible profits.
What is the Alpha Group?
Alpha Capital sits in a wider group with Alpha Futures (futures prop evaluations), ACG Markets (the broker that powers our simulated institutional environment), and Alpha Prime (a progression path for top performers). Same group, different products.
What is Alpha Prime?
Alpha Prime is for skilled, consistent traders who progress from Alpha Capital or Alpha Futures. It is a separate London-based path with its own qualification routes and terms. It is not the same as a standard Qualified Account.
How do I get started with Alpha Capital?
Pick a plan and account size on our Product page, choose your platform, and complete checkout. After payment you get credentials and start trading under the published evaluation rules. Support runs Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm GMT.
