Alpha Direct FAQs
What is Alpha Direct?
Alpha Direct is an instant-access programme. You purchase a Qualified Account on simulated funds with no evaluation phase. Trading rules, drawdown limits, and performance fee eligibility apply from day one. Leverage is up to 1:30 on FX. You cannot open or close trades on listed instruments for 5 minutes before and 5 minutes after listed news events. Weekend holding is not allowed. Results are simulated and performance fees are not guaranteed.
Do I need to hit a profit target?
No. Alpha Direct has no profit target to qualify. You start on a Qualified Account after purchase. You must follow the published risk rules, including the 3% daily drawdown, 5% trailing drawdown, and 1% maximum risk per asset.
When can I request a performance fee?
Alpha Direct is on-demand only. You may request a performance fee after you have a 3% profit buffer above the starting balance, a further 1% of gross profits, and you meet the 15% Best Day Rule. There is no minimum trading-day count for on-demand requests. Requests are reviewed against simulated results. Approval is not guaranteed.
What is the maximum drawdown?
Alpha Direct applies a 3% daily drawdown (highest end-of-day balance or equity), a 5% trailing drawdown, and a 1% maximum risk per asset on open drawdown. Breaching any published risk rule can end the account. Limits are applied to simulated balances.
What is the 15% Best Day Rule?
Your largest profitable day cannot exceed 15% of your total simulated profit when requesting a performance fee. You also need at least a 3% profit buffer above your starting balance and a further 1% of gross profits. These eligibility checks apply before any fee is approved.
How much of my performance fee do I keep?
Qualified Analysts on Alpha Direct keep 90% of approved performance fees on eligible simulated profits. The remaining 10% is retained by Alpha Capital. Actual fees depend on meeting all eligibility and compliance requirements.
