TL;DR: My Alpha is live at myalphaquant.com. It is Alpha Group's journal and analytics workspace. Connect an Alpha Capital account and it imports the forex, metal, and CFD trades, files them to your trading day, and walks that day from the open to sign-off. It reads the account. It does not place the trade, and it does not change the evaluation.
Key takeaways

What is My Alpha?
My Alpha imports the trades from a connected account and gives you one place to plan the day, review the trade, hold the rules you wrote, and read the numbers.
| My Alpha | What you use it for |
|---|---|
| Import | Instrument, direction, size, entry, exit, and profit or loss |
| Daily Flow | Four steps for the day, from pre-market to sign-off |
| Session Log | The day's trades, a replay, a rating, and notes |
| Analytics | Profit and loss, win rate, risk, timing, and habits |
| Playbooks | Strategies, task lists, goal sets, tags, and notes |
How does My Alpha connect to Alpha Capital?
- Open Settings, then Connected accounts.
- Choose Connect platform, then Alpha Capital.
- Sign in with that platform's login, or with Google.
- Continue. My Alpha lists the accounts on that login and starts the import.
The import covers the forex pairs, metals, and CFDs already on the account. The symbol split is in CFD trading vs forex trading. Gold on that account is XAUUSD, in the gold guide.
Orders stay on the platform. Setup for MetaTrader 5 is in the MetaTrader 5 guide. If you disconnect the account, syncing stops and the imported trades are removed. Notes you wrote stay.
You can label an account Active, Passed, Closed, or Blown. The label is for your own sorting. It does not change the figures.
How does My Alpha file a forex trading day?
Every trade, note, and streak belongs to one trading day. That day runs from midnight to midnight in your time zone.
- A trade at 11:30 PM stays on that day.
- A trade at 12:30 AM belongs to the next day.
- The time zone is taken from your device when you create the account. You can see it in Settings, under Preferences, for example United Kingdom, BST (UTC+01:00).
- Support can change the time zone if it is wrong.
On an Alpha Capital account, the London morning and the New York afternoon stay on the same card when both fall inside that midnight-to-midnight day. Each trade shows your local time, with the exchange time underneath. Figures are shown in USD.
What are the four steps in Daily Flow?
Daily Flow is the page for the day. It opens on today.
| Step | What you do | When the step is complete |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Pre-market Setup | Set a mood and tick the checks you wrote for the open. Optional. | Mood and checks are saved, or you skip the card |
| 2. Discipline | Goals are scored from the trades. Tasks are ticked by you. | Every task is ticked. Goals do not hold the card |
| 3. Trade recap | Give every trade a note, or mark its strategy reviewed | Every trade is recapped |
| 4. Day wrap | Read the day back, grade the process, and sign off | You sign off. The grade can stay blank |
Mood labels are Focused, Confident, Neutral, Fatigued, Anxious, and Distracted. The day grade runs from F to A, and it grades how you followed the plan, separate from the P&L. After sign-off the day is read-only until you reopen it.
Two streaks use closed days. Journalling counts a day note, a recapped trade, or ticked tasks. Discipline counts days where the automated goals were checked. A day you do not trade does not break either streak.
How do daily goals work on an Alpha Capital account?
A goal is a number My Alpha scores from the imported trades. You pick the metric, the condition, and the target. Conditions are at least, at most, more than, less than, and exactly.
A task is a line you tick yourself, such as a check before the open.
| Goal in My Alpha | Alpha Capital evaluation | |
|---|---|---|
| Who sets it | You, in Playbooks | The plan on the account |
| Examples | Trades per day, largest loss, win rate, green-day rate | Profit target, drawdown, news rules |
| What a miss does | The day's card shows the goal as not met | The evaluation rule is unchanged |
A daily goal covers that day. A weekly goal can be changed until the end of the day you add it, then it runs for 7 days. A monthly goal runs from the date you add it to the day before that date next month.
The profit target, the drawdown, and the news rule stay on the evaluation. Those rules are in what a trading evaluation is and news and overnight rules. A green day in the journal is a journal result. Passing the evaluation is not a performance fee.
A goal can apply to all accounts, one account, or a group. An evaluation and a Qualified Account can carry different goals.
What does My Alpha show on a closed trade?
Open the trade from Daily Flow or the Session Log.
- Strategy: link the setup, tick the conditions you followed, then mark it reviewed.
- Trade notes: rate the execution from F to A+, mark how you felt, and write what happened. A note, or a reviewed strategy, is what counts the trade as recapped.
- Stats: account, entry and exit, how it closed, duration, size, MAE, MFE, and MFE efficiency.
- Executions: each fill, with time, side, quantity, price, and type.
- Replay: play the chart bar by bar, from entry to exit, with MAE and MFE marked.
| Figure | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Net P&L | Profit or loss after commissions and fees |
| Win rate | Share of trades that made money |
| Profit factor | Money won divided by money lost. Above 1 means the wins were larger |
| Expectancy | Average P&L per trade |
| Drawdown | How far the account has fallen from its highest point |
| MAE | Furthest the trade went against you |
| MFE | Furthest the trade went in your favour |
| MFE efficiency | How much of that favourable move you still had at the exit |
These figures describe the imported trades. A performance fee is a separate payment.
What is the My Alpha score?
Analytics opens on an Overview. The My Alpha score is a number out of 100 that combines several measures, and it names the weakest part. Around it sit expectancy, best hour, best session, Sharpe ratio, worst day, current drawdown, MFE efficiency, and win rate after a loss.
The same screen has a P&L calendar and an equity curve. Every figure follows the filters you set: accounts, dates, trade source, and symbols. If a day looks empty, reset the filters first.
From the trade book you can export a CSV of the trades in those filters.
How do several Alpha Capital accounts sit together?
Copy group. One lead account, the one you place trades on, plus the accounts that mirror it. A trade copied onto each account is counted on each account, so the group total adds them together. Copying still follows Alpha Capital's copy-trading rules.
Progression. Accounts in the order you traded them, such as an evaluation and the Qualified Account after it. The figures run across that sequence.
Filters can show one account, a group, or several accounts. A copy group and a progression are separate groups.
My Alpha on Alpha Capital: FAQ
What is My Alpha?
My Alpha is Alpha Group's journal and analytics workspace at myalphaquant.com. It imports trades from Alpha Capital, Alpha Futures, and Alpha Prime, files them to a trading day, and shows the journal, the rules, and the performance figures.
Can My Alpha place a trade on an Alpha Capital account?
No. My Alpha only reads the account. It cannot place, change, or close a trade, and it cannot move money. Orders stay on the platform you already use for the Alpha Capital account.
Which accounts does My Alpha connect to?
My Alpha connects to Alpha Capital, Alpha Futures, and Alpha Prime. On Alpha Capital it imports the forex, metal, and CFD trades already on the account. You sign in from Settings, then Connected accounts.
How does My Alpha decide which day a trade belongs to?
The trading day runs from midnight to midnight in your time zone. A trade at 11:30 PM stays on that day. A trade at 12:30 AM belongs to the next day. The time zone is shown in Settings, under Preferences. Support can change it if it is wrong.
Does My Alpha set a daily loss limit?
No. A goal such as a maximum number of trades, or a largest loss, is a target you set. My Alpha scores it from the imported trades. The loss limits on an Alpha Capital evaluation stay on the account.
Why might the figures differ from the trading platform?
My Alpha counts the trades inside your current filters, and daily totals run midnight to midnight in your time zone. A copy group counts a mirrored trade on each account. Use live trades as the trade source when you want the list to match the platform.
Can I export my trades from My Alpha?
Yes. Open Analytics, then the trade book. Set the filters for the accounts and dates you want, then export a CSV of that list.
Alpha Capital evaluations and Qualified Accounts use simulated funds. A performance fee is performance-based. Passing does not guarantee a fee. Simulated results do not reflect live trading outcomes. This is general information, not investment advice.
