Does Alpha Capital Work in Germany? (MT5, SWIFT, KYC)

Germany is not on the restricted list. What matters next is MT5, SWIFT or Rise in USD, and that this is a forex/CFD evaluation, not a German brokerage account.

Does Alpha Capital work in Germany? Yes. Alpha Capital is open to traders in Germany. You buy a forex and CFD evaluation, you trade simulated funds on a USD account, and you request performance fees in USD once you are a Qualified Analyst.

This guide is the practical version of that answer. It covers how Alpha Capital works from Deutschland, what you can actually trade (including EUR/USD and GER30), when London and New York sit on a German clock, which plan allows weekend holds, and how performance fees reach SWIFT or Rise.

Performance fees are performance-based. Outcomes are not guaranteed. Simulated results do not reflect live broker fills. Confirm live prices and rules on alphacapitalgroup.uk before you buy.

How Alpha Capital works for traders in Germany

Alpha Capital Group is available in more than 150 countries. Germany is eligible. You register with your legal first name and surname, your real country of residence, complete KYC, and choose a plan. There is no German brokerage account at the end of that path, and this is not BaFin-supervised live dealing.

The path:

  1. Choose Alpha One, Alpha Pro, Alpha Swing, or Alpha Direct. Alpha Three is not sold on live checkout.
  2. Pick a platform at purchase: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, DX Trade, or TradeLocker.
  3. Pass the evaluation on One / Pro / Swing, or start already qualified on Alpha Direct.
  4. Complete KYC (government-issued photo ID and a selfie). No VPN or VPS during KYC. On Direct, first KYC is at the first performance fee request if you are not already verified.
  5. Trade a Qualified Account as a Qualified Analyst.
  6. Request performance fees under the published rules. Close all trades before you request. Valid requests are processed and paid within 2 business days. Payment is USD.

A “$100K account” is a $100K simulated account, not EUR 100,000 at a German bank.

CME futures (ES, NQ, CL, GC) sit on Alpha Futures, not here.

EUR/USD and GER30 from Germany

EURUSD is on the published forex list. GER30 is on the published CFD list. That is a German 30 index CFD, not Eurex DAX futures. If you want FDAX on Eurex, this is the wrong product. If you want EUR/USD, gold, or GER30 as a CFD on MT5, this is the lane.

The evaluation balance, drawdown, and performance fee requests are all in USD. Convert risk before you size.

London is the main European FX window. New York cash open, which is when EUR/USD often picks up a second leg, is 15:30 in Germany for most of the year (09:30 US Eastern). Germany is 6 hours ahead of US Eastern when both regions are on summer time, or both on winter time. Around the clock-change weeks the gap is 5 hours. Check the date.

Weekend holds, by plan

This is the rule that actually changes how a German desk should buy:

Plan

Weekend holds

Alpha Pro evaluation (Phase 1 and 2)

Allowed

Alpha Pro Qualified Account

Not allowed (soft breach: those profits are removed)

Alpha One

Allowed at every stage

Alpha Swing

Allowed at every stage

Alpha Direct

Not allowed

Holding over the weekend incurs swap unless you bought the swap-free add-on (MT5, Alpha One and Alpha Pro only). Direct and swap-free accounts also disable Expert Advisors.

If you close before the weekend on a Pro Qualified Account, Pro can work. If you hold through Friday, buy Swing or One, not Pro Qualified and not Direct.

Which plan fits how you trade

Confirm checkout the day you buy. Live checkout is One, Pro, Swing, and Direct.

Alpha Pro

2-step

Alpha Swing

Overnight and weekend holds

Alpha Direct

No evaluation

1:30

On-demand. 90% as standard. 3% buffer, then 1% more, 15% Best Day Rule

Skip the evaluation. No weekend hold

You cannot switch bi-weekly and on-demand on the same account.

On-demand (One / Pro / Swing): no single day above 40% of total generated profits; minimum 2% gross on account balance.
Alpha Direct: 15% Best Day Rule, 3% buffer, then at least 1% more before a request.

Platforms from Germany

Live set: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, DX Trade, TradeLocker. You pick at purchase.

MT5 is in this set for Germany. US residents do not get MT5. If you later travel to the US, do not use the MT5 account while you are there.

How performance fees reach Germany

Request from the dashboard. Close all trades first. The account stays locked while the request is processed. Valid requests are processed and paid within 2 business days.

Bi-weekly (Alpha Pro if chosen at purchase): every 14 days from the first Qualified trade. First request needs 5 valid trading days. Minimum $100 gross / $80 net. A trading day counts when a trade is opened and closed on the same day.

On-demand: Best Day Rule plus the minimum profit for that plan, as above.

Default share 80%. Optional 90% add-on at purchase on all Alpha One plans and on-demand Alpha Pro. Direct is 90% on published terms. The add-on cannot be attached after purchase.

Methods: bank transfer (WIRE / SWIFT) and crypto through Rise. ACH is listed for US bank accounts. Payment is USD.
