Looking to trade with Alpha Capital from Spain? Yes. Alpha Capital is open to traders across Spain. You can start a forex and CFD evaluation, trade simulated funds on a USD account, and request performance fees in USD once you are a Qualified Analyst.
This guide walks you through getting started from Spain: trading instruments like EUR/USD and EUSTX50, matching your session to Spanish time, picking the plan that fits overnight or weekend holds, and requesting performance fees by SWIFT or Rise.
Note: Evaluations use simulated funds. Performance fees are performance-based, and outcomes are not guaranteed. Check live prices and rules on alphacapitalgroup.uk before you buy, so you can pick the option that fits how you trade.
How Alpha Capital works for traders in Spain
Alpha Capital Group welcomes traders from more than 150 countries, including Spain. Sign up with your legal first name and surname, confirm your country of residence, complete KYC, and choose a plan.
Your path to a Qualified Account:
- Choose your plan: Alpha One, Alpha Pro, Alpha Swing, or skip the evaluation with Alpha Direct. Live checkout includes these four plans. (Alpha Three is not sold on live checkout).
- Pick your platform: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, DX Trade, or TradeLocker.
- Complete the evaluation: Pass on One, Pro, or Swing—or start already qualified on Direct.
- Complete KYC: Verify using a government-issued photo ID and a selfie. Complete this step without a VPN or VPS so your location verifies cleanly. On Direct, if you are not already verified, KYC occurs when you are eligible to request your first performance fee.
- Trade and request: Once you are a Qualified Analyst, trade under the published rules and request performance fees from the dashboard. Close open trades first. Valid requests are processed and paid within 2 business days in USD.
A “$100K account” is a $100K simulated account. CME futures (ES, NQ, CL, GC) sit on Alpha Futures.

Trading EUR/USD and EUSTX50 from Spain
From Spain you can trade EURUSD on the published forex list and EUSTX50, the Euro Stoxx 50 index CFD, on MT5 and the other Cap platforms. That CFD is not IBEX 35. IBEX futures live on MEFF, which is a different exchange. If you want Nasdaq or S&P futures, that is Alpha Futures (CME), not IBEX.
Account balances, drawdown, and performance fee requests are in USD. Convert risk before you size so a EUR living cost and a USD account stay aligned.
- London: You are in CET/CEST, so the European FX window sits in your daytime.
- New York: Cash open is 09:30 US Eastern, which is 15:30 on mainland Spain for most of the year, and 14:30 in the Canary Islands. Around clock-change weeks the gap can be 5 hours instead of 6. Check the date.
Choosing the right plan for weekend holds
If your system likes to sit through Friday, the plan you buy is what keeps that process smooth:
Plan | Weekend holds | A good fit when |
|---|---|---|
Alpha One | Allowed at every stage | Single-phase path and weekend flexibility |
Alpha Swing | Allowed at every stage | Overnight and weekend holds |
Alpha Pro | Allowed in evaluation (Phase 1 and 2). On the Qualified Account, close before the weekend (holding is a soft breach: those profits are removed, the account stays active) | Two-phase path and 1:100 FX leverage, with Friday flat once qualified |
Alpha Direct | Close before the weekend | Skip the evaluation and start qualified |
Key Rule Notes:
- Weekend holds incur swap unless you buy the swap-free add-on at purchase (MT5, Alpha One and Alpha Pro only). Direct and swap-free accounts also disable Expert Advisors.
- You cannot switch bi-weekly and on-demand on the same account.
- On-demand (One / Pro / Swing): No single day above 40% of total generated profits; minimum 2% gross on account balance.
- Alpha Direct: 15% Best Day Rule, 3% buffer, then at least 1% more before a request. FX leverage 1:30 on One, Swing, and Direct.
- The 90% add-on is selected at purchase on all Alpha One plans and on-demand Alpha Pro. It cannot be attached later. Direct is 90% as standard.
Platforms from Spain
MetaTrader 5, cTrader, DX Trade, and TradeLocker are all available when you buy from Spain. You pick at purchase.
MT5 is included for Spain. US residents use a different platform set. If you later travel to the US, use one of the other platforms for that trip rather than MT5.
How performance fees reach you in Spain
Request from the dashboard after you close open trades. The account stays locked while the request is processed. Valid requests are processed and paid within 2 business days.
- Bi-weekly (Alpha Pro if chosen at purchase): Every 14 days from the first Qualified trade. First request needs 5 valid trading days. Minimum $100 gross / $80 net. A trading day counts when a trade is opened and closed on the same day.
- On-demand: Best Day Rule plus the minimum for that plan, as above.
- Default share & methods: 80% default share (optional 90% add-on at purchase, as above). Paid via bank transfer (WIRE / SWIFT) and crypto through Rise. ACH is listed for US bank accounts. Your Spanish bank receives USD unless you convert after it lands.
